Tweed shirt-jacket from George Keys, Oxford Blue's specialty brand for workwear style garments.
The cut is based on the jackets worn by English builders and lumberjacks from the late 19th century. The informal name for such jackets was Donkey Jacket, after the name of the self-propelled steam winch Steam Donkey, widely used at that time in construction work and in timber harvesting at that time.
George Keys is the name of a tailor from the town of Ragley (a suburb of Birmingham) who developed and first began to sew Donkey Jackets in 1890.
