Photo cabinet in Tweed Hat (December 8-9, 2018) part 2

Since the end of the 19th century, the townspeople have had a tradition: to come to a photo studio in order to make a portrait. Individual or group (with family, friends). With a dog, a cat, a significant item. In carnival costumes, professional uniforms or weekend clothes. In every era, studio photos have their own characteristics.

After the appearance on the market of compact, inexpensive and easy-to-use cameras (and later smartphones), interest in such photographs decreased. Why purposely go somewhere to be photographed if I can take a photo anywhere and anytime?

But the value of a well-made photo portrait cannot be understated. A real photographer can not only capture the appearance of a person, but show his hidden inner features and character in single frame.

On December 8 and 9, Tweed Hat’s permanent photographer  Denis Klimushkin took portraits of all interested visitors of our showroom. To create the desired image, guests could choose any clothes from the assortment of the store, and our team helped them with this.
