The Sokol model is a classic flat cap by Old Pal, inspired by archive designs from the 1950s/60s.
The ideal volume, smoothly transitioning over the cap. Raglan cut (as well as some technological developments) allows you to create a cap shape that is a natural extension of the head.
The name of the model (as with all Old Pal caps) is inspired by the Moscow district. Sokol - that was the name in the 1920s of the wooden "village of artists", which is now located near the metro station of the same name. Also, the swiftness of the shape of the cap inevitably reminds us of a fast bird of prey.
A flat cap made of Harris Tweed is sewn in two colors, harmoniously combined with each other. The tweed is hand-woven in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, lined with soft Portuguese fabric (97% cotton, 3% linen). 100% cotton inner band. The crown of the cap is sewn to the visor at three points.
All information on the lining (except for the Harris Tweed patch) is applied by the traditional hand-stamping method using high-quality stamp ink for fabrics (it is resistant and does not fade).
Suitable for both men and women.
