The cap has its band, located near its bottom, as well as a standard-length visor with a button of the Japanese YKK brand, that reliably fastens the crown, cap’s main part made of eight wedges.
The model’s name Newsboy refers to the boys who sold newspapers in the streets in the late 19th — early 20th century. Those caps were especially popular among them. Later they spread wider but preserved their historic name.
Eight-piece caps of this cut can be seen in "Peaky Blinders", the TV series about Birmingham in the 1920s.
