An archive model of a cap from Hanna Hats of Donegal, made exclusively for the Tweed Hat store in honor of the 100th anniversary of the factory.
The cap has a design close to classic vintage-style caps, but is much wider. The silhouette is close to British caps of the first third of the 20th century.
It can be worn either straight or with the crown shifted to the side (like an eight-panel cap or a beret).
The cap got its name thanks to the famous American actor John Wayne, who wore it in the classic film about Ireland, Quiet Man (who hasn't seen it - we sincerely recommend it!)
It is made of tweed from the world-famous Scottish brand Harris Tweed.
Suitable for both men and women.
You can read more about the history of Harris Tweed and how the world was almost left without their wonderful tweeds relatively recently in a large text that we have specially translated and beautifully designed (the text is large, it will take at least 25 minutes to read): Harris Tweed. The Fall and Rise of a Legend.
