A classic knitted beanie with a smooth top and a ribbed pattern on the headband from McConnell Woolen Mills, a small Irish factory in County Clare.
It is supposed to be worn with a turn up band so that it completely fits the head.
A moderately soft, wear-resistant material consisting only of wool sheared from live sheep during their annual shearing (pure new wool), which will become softer and softer as it is worn. All the yarn for these hats is dyed and spun in the traditional way in County Donegal.
Suitable for both men and women.
