Recreated classic 1950s men's T-shirt from a small German company Merz B. Schwanen, specializing in historical knitwear.
The T-shirt is made on original loopwheeler machines made in the first half of the 20th century. Such machines work many times slower than modern knitting machines, and the tension of the threads during production is much weaker. This makes the knitting fabric more textured, softer and more authentic.
The fabric is knitted in a tube, so the T-shirt has no side seams (this is how the best knitwear was produced in the first half of the 20th century).
The T-Shirt is made of premium quality organic cotton, which was produced with minimal harm to the environment.
A similar T-shirt was worn by Marlon Brando in the "A Streetcar Named Desire" movie (1951).
Originally it is men's T-shirt, but in fact it is suitable for both men and women.
