The traveler’s cap by Ye Olde Cappe got its name for a reason. This is a recreated headwear of French settlers in Canada in the 18th — 19th centuries, those brave people and adventure seekers.
The cap is two-sided, it can be turned inside out and worn any way.
The cap was knitted by hand of light and terra-cotta colored yarn and washed afterwards, thus becoming denser.
The cap stretches well, so our size variety is limited to only two sizes, Medium and Small.
The model for the cap was the hat rescued from the frigate "Machault" sunk in 1760, as well as pictorial sources. Specimens of these two-sided hats can be found in the Amsterdam Rijksmuseum.
It fits both men and women.
