This vegetable tanned leather key case from the Moscow based workshop Drasvi Venn was produced in collaboration with our brand Old Pal.
The shape and design refer us to traditional cases for keys and small items from the Russian North of the late 19th - early 20th centuries.
Logical and convenient design: with the help of a durable leather cord, the set of keys is pulled in and, thanks to friction, is securely fixed. On the inside, an aged brass ring is attached to the cord (on which the keys themselves should be hung). An aged brass soldered ring is attached to the outside of the cord, making it convenient to pull the keys inside.
The key holder is made of hand-dyed Italian vegetable tanned cow leather. Packed in linen bag.
Over time, it will age beautifully, slightly darkening and acquiring an individual texture. The seam is made with artificial sinew.
Dimensions (excluding cord length):
- length 13 cm
- width: 6.7 cm
Inner ring diameter: 2.8cm
Made in Moscow on Izmailovsky Island.
In the last photo you can see how the key holder looks after 8 months of regular use.
