Tweed Hat, call back to me!

Drasvi Venn is a conceptual brand founded by the artisan Ilya Kuznetsov. The brand combines art and craft, carefully preserving the memory of pre-revolutionary Russian culture. Each product contains the history and spirit of Russian artisans, continued in modern objects.

All items are divided into collections and are produced in small batches or in a single copy in the workshop on Izmailovsky Island, inside the 17th century estate. Among them are designer bags, accessories, shoes and games that continue and actualize the legacy of generations of artisans of the Russian North. Any product of "Drasvi Venn" includes hours or days of work, the individuality of the imperfect, the aesthetics of the lost Russian craft, smart simplicity.

The creator of the brand Ilya Kuznetsov has been creating leather goods for more than a quarter of a century that continue the culture of the lost leather craft and art of Russia. Each bag, shoe or accessory is the result of deep research, selection of the best materials and professional intuition - from preparing patterns to printing tags on an antique Underwood typewriter.

About the name. "Drasvi venn!" - the first thing that Russians and Norwegians said to each other in the Russian North in the 17th-18th centuries. "Drasvi" - from the Russian "hello". "Venn" - from the Norwegian "friend". And each thought that they were speaking the language of the other. This is how Russenorsk was formed - a pidgin language consisting of half Russian words, half Norwegian. Only about 400 words - enough for a dialogue of cultures.
