Photo cabinet at Tweed Hat (on September 28-29, 2019) part 2
Since the end of the 19th century, the townspeople have had a tradition: to come to a photo studio in order to make a portrait. Individual or group (with family, friends). With a dog, a cat, a significant item. In carnival costumes, professional uniforms or weekend clothes. In every era, studio photos have their own characteristics.
After the appearance on the market of compact, inexpensive and easy-to-use cameras (and later smartphones), interest in such photographs decreased. Why purposely go somewhere to be photographed if I can take a photo anywhere and anytime?
But the value of a well-made photo portrait cannot be understated. A real photographer can not only capture the appearance of a person, but show his hidden inner features and character in single frame.
On December 28 and 29, for the second time, together with Tweed Hat’s photographer Denis Klimushkin, we organized a photo booth for our showroom visitors. To create the desired image, guests could choose any clothes from the assortment of the store, and our team helped them with this.
